Objective
Bachelor in Mountaineering Studies (BMS) program aims to prepare graduates with engrained practical life-skills viz physical endurance, strong mental health and academic acumen etc. The foundation course is of three years with 6 semesters. The students shall be trained to undertake mountaineering expeditions wherein life-long lessons shall be taught to promote self- management and mountain tourism. The course in its nascent stage has been embarked upon with the unique distinction of Sri Sai University, Palampur being the first Himachal Pradesh Private University offering such a daring and life-relevant course. The program shall encompass multidisciplinary skills and it shall provide requisite filip to entrepreneurship in the tourism industry of the hill state.
